Karl Behm
Karl Behm (born April 13, 1858 in Güstrow , † June 28, 1905 in Munich ) was a German genre and portrait painter.
Life
Karl Behm was the son of a businessman and initially also worked as a businessman and in the military. Behm began studying painting from 1880 to 1882 at the Royal Prussian Academy of the Arts in Berlin . He continued his studies from October 21, 1882 in the nature class of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. After completing his studies, he stayed in Munich in 1884 and moved into an apartment on Landwehrstrasse. 49. He was buried in Güstrow.
