Karl Fritzen

Karl Fritzen (also Carl, born February 19, 1844 in Kleve ; † August 21, 1933 there ) was a German lawyer and politician of the Center Party .

Life

After graduating from the Collegium Augustinianum Gaesdonck , Fritzen studied law in Bonn and Heidelberg and then worked as a local judge in Dülken and a local court advisor in his hometown. From 1880 to 1918 Fritzen was a member of the Center Party in the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1887 to 1893 and 1895 to 1912 of the German Reichstag (first for the third Koblenz constituency, then for the constituency of Kleve-Geldern).

Karl Fritzen was a brother of Adolf Fritzen , Bishop of Strasbourg, and Aloys Fritzen , who like Karl Fritzen emerged as a lawyer and central politician.
