Karl Kreuser (bank manager)

Karl Kreuser (born July 11, 1901 in Mechernich ; † September 29, 1982 ) was a German bank manager.

Life

Karl Kreuser studied political science and economics in Bonn, Cologne, Berlin and Munich. In 1923 he became a Dr oec at the TH Aachen . publ. PhD. He initially worked for Darmstädter und Nationalbank AG and Dresdner Bank . From 1945 to 1951 he was a Bavarian trustee. Assets of the chemical factory v. Heyden . From 1946 to 1952 he was a member of the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance as Ministerialrat. He was also head of the Bavarian banking supervisory authority, later head of the Bavarian state supervisory office for insurance.

In 1952 he became a board member in the Munich branch of Rhein-Main-Bank , and later a member of the management of Dresdner Bank . Kreuser was a member of the board of directors and admission office for securities at the Bavarian stock exchange as well as a board member of the Munich trading association, the sole shareholder of the Bavarian stock exchange. He was a member of the supervisory board of various companies, such as the pharmaceutical wholesaler Gehe & Co. AG , the Bavarian wool blanket factory Bruckmühl AG and the like. a.

In 1957 Kreuser was appointed Knight of the Papal Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Nicola Cardinal Canali and invested in Munich on April 30, 1957 by Lorenz Jaeger , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy . He was last Commander of the Order.
