Karl Nobel

Karl Nobel (born March 30, 1904 in Eilendorf , † February 22, 1982 in Buxtehude ) was a Lower Saxony politician ( SPD ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Nobel attended elementary school and then began an apprenticeship in a machine factory. After completing his apprenticeship, he worked in various companies as a machine fitter and was later employed as a pipeline fitter on various oil fields. He was also a caretaker at the vocational school in Buxtehude.

From 1929 to 1933 Nobel was a member of the city council in Buxtehude and after the end of the Second World War he became a member of the district council and the district committee in Stade as well as a member of the city council of Buxtehude. Nobel was elected a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament for the fourth and fifth electoral periods from May 6, 1959 to June 5, 1967.
