Karl Rudiger

Karl Rüdiger (born June 16, 1896 in Ochshausen ; † February 20, 1951 in Homberg (Efze) ) was a German politician of the FDP .

Rüdiger, son of a farmer, attended the agricultural school and took over his father's farm after the First World War . After 1933 he was expropriated by the National Socialists . From 1921 to 1933 he was a district committee member in Kassel .

After 1945 Rüdiger took over the Mühlenhof estate near Immenhausen in the Hofgeismar district , which he managed until his death. Since 1947 he was a member of the Hofgeismar district committee. He was a member of the Bundestag from the first general election in 1949 until his death . With 35.2% of the valid votes cast, he was directly elected to parliament in the Waldeck constituency.

Rüdiger was also a member of the FDP federal executive committee from 1949 to 1951 .
