Karl Julius Wilhelm Ewald von Stünzner-Karbe (born February 26, 1872 in Berlin , † March 22, 1934 in Sieversdorf ) was a German landowner and politician ( DNVP ).

Life

Stünzner came from a family that was raised to the Prussian nobility in 1874 because of their services . He attended the Roßleben monastery school , passed his Abitur there at Easter 1891 and then completed an apprenticeship in agriculture. In October 1894 he inherited the manor Sieversdorf near Jacobsdorf from his great-uncle Ferdinand Karbe , which he subsequently managed. From 1892 to 1893 he did military service with Uhlan Regiment No. 3 and in 1895 became a reserve officer. From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War as a soldier . During the war he was Rittmeister of the Reserve and commander of the corps headquarters of the III. Reserve Corps . At times he also led the 3rd Battalion of Landwehr Regiment No. 38 off Smorgon .

Stünzner-Karbe was knighthood councilor of the Kur- und Neumärkischen main electorate for the district Lebus , member of the Brandenburg provincial synod and district fire society director. During the time of the Weimar Republic he joined the DNVP and was elected chairman of the DNVP regional association in Frankfurt (Oder) . He was district deputy and district committee member of the Lebus district and a member of the Brandenburg Provincial Landtag . From 1928 to 1932 and again from 19 August 1932 to 1933 he was a member of the Prussian state parliament .
