Waldstrasse 10

description

The two-story, under monument protection standing apartment building is a detached residential building on a break stone base and a tile-roofed, high hipped roof . On this there is a large dormer with a pointed helmet above the left, rear edge of the building .

In the symmetrical, six-axis street view to the south, there is a three-storey central projection with a semicircular window extending over two window axes on the ground floor. The two upper floors under the half hip gable are decorated with ornamental frameworks.

The original floor plan of the slightly reduced, rough plastered facades has now disappeared. The windows are framed by sandstone walls.

history

In April 1906, the master carpenter Bruno Schröter submitted a building application for the complete renovation of his residential building, so that it was equivalent to a new building. The plans for this came from the architect Johannes Heinsius . At the beginning of January 1907 Schröter asked the Amtshauptmannschaft Dresden-Neustadt for immediate occupancy approval of his house “for himself and his family” , “because I had the rooms now owned by Frau von Carlowitz on January 15th because of a visit from the Königl. Must clear court balls. ”The building inspection then took place at the end of February 1907.
