Kaspar Eisenkolb

Kaspar Eisenkolb (born May 23, 1826 in Lowrin , Austrian Empire , † November 30, 1913 in Nagykikinda , Kingdom of Hungary ) was a Romanian-German teacher and composer .

Life

Like his older brother Josef Eisenkolb , Kaspar Eisenkolb attended the teachers' seminar in Timisoara . He then worked as a teacher in Lovrin (1843–45), Triebswetter (until 1848), Tschanad (until 1858) and from 1860 until his retirement in 1888 as a teacher and cantor in Nakodorf . He composed hymns that can be found in several Banat song books and from 1866 onwards he started a hymn book in Nakodorf. As autographs are u. a. the songs I believe in God in every need , Jesus you I live and We adore, you receive true bread from heaven .
