The Qatari Tourism Authority ( Arabic الهيئة العامة للسياحة, DMG al-Haiʾa al-ʿĀmma li-s-Siyāḥa , English Qatar Tourism Authority - QTA ) is an authority of the Qatari government responsible for the formulation and administration of the rules, regulations and laws relating to the development and promotion of tourism in Qatar responsible is. Agendas

The agency is responsible for tourist attractions and accommodation for travelers, the expansion and diversification of the Qatari tourism industry. The long-term strategic mission is to increase the share of tourism in the country's GDP , as well as in future growth and social progress.

The work of the QTA is subject to the guidelines of the Qatar National Tourism Sector Strategy 2030 (QNTSS), which was published in February 2014 and outlines the planning for the future development of the industry.
