Katharina Schwabe (born April 29, 1993 in Bad Muskau ) is a German volleyball player .
Career
Schwabe began her career at the Saxon club TSG Kraftwerk Boxberg / Weißwasser . In 2006 she was discovered there by the talent scouts and signed up for the VC Olympia Dresden youth team. She won the German U18 and U20 championships as well as the national cup in 2009. In 2010 she took part with the national junior team at the European Championship in Serbia . Germany reached fourth place and Schwabe received a personal award as best server. Then she went to VC Olympia Berlin , with which she competed in the Bundesliga .
In 2011, the outside attacker switched to Dresdner SC . In 2012 and 2013 she reached the final of the German championship with the club. In 2014, 2015 and 2016 she won the title with the DSC, as well as the DVV Cup final in the Mannheim SAP Arena in 2016. In the 2016/17 season she was third in the DSC championship. In the following season they won the cup and made it to the playoff semi-finals .
In 2019 Schwabe moved to FC Nantes .
