The Cathedral of San Giuliano in Caltagirone is the cathedral of the diocese of Caltagirone .

The three-aisled church in Piazza Umberto I dates back to Norman times. It was badly damaged in earthquakes in 1542 and 1693. In 1818, after the establishment of the diocese of Caltagirone, it was almost completely rebuilt. The 48 meter high campanile was added later. The three-aisled interior houses various paintings by Giuseppe Vaccaro from a local family of painters, but also a wooden crucifix from the Renaissance (in the right arm of the transept ).
