Katsu Aki

Katsu Aki ( Japanese 克 ・ 亜 樹 ; born September 19, 1961 in Nishi-ku , Fukuoka , Japan ) is the stage name of the Japanese mangaka Katsuaki Nakamura ( 中 村 克明 , Nakamura Katsuaki ).

He made his debut as a professional manga artist in 1983 with Mary Rarabai in the manga magazine Hana to Yume . His breakthrough only came when he started The Vision of Escaflowne in 1994 , which Sunrise was still developing into an anime and became an international success in 1996.

Since 1997 he has published the series Manga Love Story, which is also successful in Germany, as well as the Manga Love Story for Ladies since 2003 in Young Animal magazine . He has also been working on Love Lucky since 2004 , which appears in Young Magazine .
