Kenneth Knudsen

Kenneth Knudsen (born September 28, 1946 ) is a Danish jazz keyboardist and composer.

The self-taught musician studied architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts until 1974. He recorded more than a hundred albums with soloists such as Arild Andersen , Svend Asmussen , Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen , Jan Akkerman , Karsten Vogel , Palle Mikkelborg , Miles Davis ( Aura ) and the Indian violinist L. Subramaniam and groups such as Secret Oyster , Coronaria Dans , ANIMA , Entrance , Bombay Hotel and Heart To Heart Trio . He also recorded several of his own CDs, including Silence and Music for Eyes .

Knudsen composed ballet, film and television music, string quartets , choral works and pieces for piano and cello, cello solo and guitar.

Knudsen also composed the distinctive ringtone of the telephone models called "BeoCom 2" from the Danish electronics manufacturer Bang & Olufsen .
