Kensuke Tanabe

Kensuke Tanabe ( Japanese田邊 賢 輔Tanabe Kensuke ; born January 26, 1963 in Ikeda , Osaka ), also known as Kenji Tanabe , is a Japanese game developer.

Career

In April 1986, Kensuke Tanabe was employed by the Japanese video game company Nintendo . He was Shigeru Miyamoto's department Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development assigned as a designer and project manager. His first project was Dream Factory: Nervous Panic or Super Mario Bros. 2 , in which he acted as director. A few years later Tanabe was promoted to producer and assigned to Nintendo Software Planning & Development (SPD) around 2004 . There he acts as the producer of the third SPD department and is responsible for the cooperation with the Nintendo Studios Intelligent Systems and the Retro Studios . He also works with Next Level Games and Monster Games .
