Kim Ye-jin (born December 20, 1999 ) is a South Korean short tracker .

Career

Kim started internationally for the first time in February 2017 at the World Cup in Dresden and finished tenth over 1000 m and second place over 500 m. At the following World Cup in Minsk , she won her first World Cup over 500 m and also achieved third place in the relay. She finished the season in ninth place in the 500 m World Cup. In the 2017/18 season she won Budapest and Shanghai with the relay. She also came third in Seoul and second in Dordrecht with the relay. At the season highlight, the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , she won the gold medal with the relay over 3000 m. In March 2018, she also won the relay gold medal at the World Championships in Montreal . In the 2018/19 season she was third with the mixed season in Calgary and second with the season and third in Dresden with the season.
