motivation

A congenital heart defect is the most common organ malformation in humans. Every year around 6,000 children are born with a heart defect in Germany alone. Today medicine is often able to offer these children a life of sufficient quality. Nevertheless, it is not an easy path, and in many cases the families affected have to help themselves and each other. Based on this consideration, the association was founded in 1999 through a parents' initiative.
