The Kintetsu Liners ( Japanese 近 鉄 ラ イ ナ ー ズ , Kintetsu Raināzu ) is a Japanese rugby union club owned by Kinki Nippon Tetsudō , the country's largest private railway company .
history
The club was founded in 1929 and is one of the oldest rugby clubs in Japanese rugby history. The Kintetsu Liners are currently playing in the Japan Rugby Top League . You have won the Japan Championship three times, the Company Championship eight times and the Kansai Shakaijin League 17 times. Their home stadium is the Kintetsu Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Higashiōsaka , Osaka Prefecture , on the main island of Honshū .
Yoshihiro Sakata from Kintetsu is the most famous player in the club's history. He is the only Japanese " IRB Hall of Fame " player.
