The Kiribati national soccer team is the selection team for the Pacific island nation of Kiribati .
Kiribati is not a member of the world football association FIFA and only an associate member of the regional association OFC . Therefore, the national team cannot qualify for the soccer world championships or the Oceania championship.
In its history so far, Kiribati has only played nine international matches, eight of which were lost. Eight games took place at the Pacific Games.
