Klaus Groth (entrepreneur)

Klaus Groth (born March 12, 1938 ) is a German real estate entrepreneur .

Life

The building contractor from Glückstadt came to West Berlin in 1980 . In the 1980s and 1990s in particular, he made large investments in Berlin.

The Groth Group (Groth Development GmbH & Co. KG) is Klaus Groth's real estate development company. In 1997 his company Groth + Graalfs (G + G) had a turnover of around 400 million DM .

Klaus Groth is also the owner of VHB Grundstücksverwaltung und Autovermietung GmbH & Co. KG, based in Berlin. The pa was in 2017 as a party donation 100,000 euros to the CDU, whose member is Groth. There was unrest because of so-called fragmented donations. Groth is one of the founders of the Future Berlin Foundation .
