Klaus Heuer (born September 14, 1935 ; † November 12, 2011 ) was a former German soccer player who, as a striker of BSV 92 Berlin, won the top scorer's crown in the Berlin city league in 1960 with 21 goals .

career

The 22-year-old offensive player Klaus Heuer moved to the 1958/59 round from the district of Pankow / East Berlin from the lower class SG Weißensee to Tempelhof to Viktoria 89 Berlin and thus became a contract player in the city league Berlin. He made his debut on the first day of the season, on August 20, 1958, in the 3-0 defeat of Viktoria at the side of the top performers Helmut Jonas , Werner Nocht and Richard Strehlow in the away game against Hertha BSC as a center forward in the city league. The man from Weißensee played thirteen games and scored three goals in this round, Viktoria took fourth place. His guest appearance at Viktoria 89 was over after one round, from the 1959/60 season Heuer was active for the Berlin sports club 1892.

This year the round opened on August 23, 1959 with the 3-1 away win of BSV 92 at Hertha Zehlendorf in the center forward position with two goals. The team from the Wilmersdorf district could not preserve the start with 9: 1 points over the entire round - the BSV 92 was in fourth place at the end of the round - but Klaus Heuer captured the top scorer in the city league with 21 goals. In the second year the sporting balance was declining and Heuer signed a new contract with Hertha BSC for the 1961/62 round. In the last two rounds of the city league, he won the runner-up with Hertha in 1962 and the championship in 1963 . In the year of the soccer World Cup in Chile in 1962 - Hertha was runner-up one point behind Tasmania 1900 - Heuer was still acting as a center forward and scored twelve goals. When he won the championship in 1963, he formed the defenders pair with Hans-Günter Schimmöller and played all six games in the final round of the German soccer championship. In total, Heuer played 109 games in five rounds in the Berlin City League from 1958 to 1963, scoring 42 goals.

In the new Bundesliga he only came to eight missions from 1963 to 1965 due to injury and the increased number of newcomers from West Germany - Klimaschefski, Kremer, Rehhagel, Rühl, Sundermann. The first Bundesliga game was played on August 31, 1963 in the 2-0 away defeat at VfB Stuttgart and his last appearance was on February 22, 1964 in the 2-1 home defeat against Hamburger SV . The regular defenders were Otto Rehhagel and Schimmöller. After relegation to the regional league , he was back in the regular cast in 1965/66. He celebrated the championship and played all six games in the promotion round against Fortuna Düsseldorf , FK Pirmasens and Kickers Offenbach . On November 23, 1966, he was a member of Hertha’s final team, which won the Berlin Cup with a 6-3 win after extra time against Tennis Borussia . In the following DFB Cup game on January 14, 1967 against FC Bayern Munich , he also defended in the right defensive position in the narrow 3-2 defeat after extra time. When he won the second title in 1967, Heuer had only played four games.

Klaus Heuer ended his playing career in 1967/68 after his return to BSV 92. He played his last regional league game on February 18, 1968 against Hertha BSC. Heuer made a total of 44 regional league appearances from 1965 to 1968 and scored three goals.
