The Piano Trio in C, op. 87 by Johannes Brahms for piano, violin and cello was composed in the years 1880–1882. The premiere was with members of the Joachim Quartet and Brahms at the piano as part of the 5th Chamber Music Evening of the Frankfurt Museum Society on December 29, 1882. The movement names are:

  1. Allegro
  2. Andante con moto
  3. Scherzo : Presto - Trio : Poco meno presto
  4. Finale : Allegro giocoso
