Lake Constance Festival

The Konstanz Lake Night Festival on the second weekend in August is the largest festival on Lake Constance , the highlight on Saturday evening is the fireworks, one of the largest lake fireworks in Europe.

It has taken place since 1949 as a synchronous event between the German city of Konstanz and the Swiss city of Kreuzlingen . Both fireworks are organized independently. At the Swiss neighbor in Kreuzlingen, the Seenachtfest is called Fantastical . In 2018, 35,000 visitors took part on both sides of the Konstanz funnel .
