Kosovar Crow
The Kosovo Crow is a breed of chicken from the Balkan Peninsula , which is native to Kosovo . The breed belongs to the long crane breeds and the crested hens .
The breed was only known in the region of origin until the 21st century. In recent years, however, it has also been bred in other European countries. The first official recognition took place in 2016 by the Croatian breeders' association in the color black.
properties
It is a lively chicken with a tall build, a cocked tail, and a showy bonnet. The most common color is black. The crow call can last from 30 to over 60 seconds.
Related breeds
As a close relative of Kosovokrähers also from the neighboring region are Sanjak originating Sanjak-Kräher and the Bosnian Kräher which is ancestor of Bergisch Krähers applies.
