Kristin Heyne

Kristin Heyne (born February 25, 1952 in Aumühle ; † January 30, 2002 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

Life

The secondary and secondary school teacher was a founding member of the Green Alternative List (GAL) in Hamburg in 1982 . On February 16, 1989, she moved up as a member of the GRÜNE / GAL parliamentary group in the 13th Hamburg parliament, to which she belonged until July 31, 1990, and from March 28, 1990 as a non-attached member.

From November 10, 1994 until her death she was a member of the German Bundestag . From 1994 to 1998 she coordinated the “Economy and Finances” working group of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group , and from 1998 she was First Parliamentary Managing Director . In the federal elections in 1994 and 1998 , she was elected to parliament via the GAL's Hamburg state list .

In the Hamburg GAL, Kristin Heyne worked to end the separation of office and mandate . After this was successfully implemented in 2001, the GAL members elected Heyne on December 9, 2001 as sole state chairman.

Kristin Heyne died of cancer on January 30th, 2002 at the age of 49, she was buried in the Hamburg cemetery in Bergedorf .
