Kym Anderson

Kym Anderson (born February 26, 1950 in Adelaide ) is an Australian economist . He is a professor at the University of Adelaide .

Life

Anderson studied agricultural economics at the University of New England ( Bachelor , 1971). He received a master's degree from the University of Adelaide in 1974. Then he studied for a year in the Ph.D. Program from the University of Chicago and then moved to Stanford University , where he received an MA in 1976 and a Ph.D. received. From 1977 to 1983 he conducted research at the Australian National University . He has been at the University of Adelaide since 1984 .

Anderson conducts research on foreign trade , development , agricultural and environmental economics, and wine economics . He has published over 30 books and 300 articles in specialist journals and chapters in specialist books.
