Cyril IX Moghabghab , also Cyril IX. Mogabgab (born October 29, 1855 in Ain-Zehalta , Lebanon , † September 8, 1947 in Alexandria , Egypt ), maiden name Hence Moghabghab , was Patriarch of Antioch of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church from 1925 to 1949 .

Life

He was ordained a priest on March 27, 1883 . On April 23, 1899, he was appointed bishop of Zahlé and Furzol . This appointment was confirmed on May 20, 1899.
