Léo Rivest

Léo Rivest (born December 2, 1913 - May 24, 1990 ) was a Canadian actor.

Along with Paul Desmarteaux , Paul Thériault and Jean Grimaldi, Rivest was one of the prominent representatives of cabaret and burlesque theater in Québec. First he worked with Olivier Guimond , then he performed in a duo with Claude Blanchard for more than twenty years . He appeared in several television series ( Le bonheur des autres , 1965–67; Symphorien , 1970–77; Les Moineau et les Pinson , 1982–85) and appeared as himself in Jean-Claude Labrecque's film Le frère André (1987) .
