Lablabi

Lablabi ( Arabic لبلابي, DMG lablābī ) is a popular Tunisian dish, which consists of chickpeas , bread and soup seasoned with cumin . The name of this dish is derived from the Turkish word leblebi , which means roasted chickpeas .

To prepare it, the bread is cut up and put into bowls. It is doused with chickpeas that have been boiled in water, seasoned and seasoned with harissa , caraway seeds and salt. Then, depending on your taste, you can add olive oil , vinegar, capers , olives, tuna or egg.
