The completely forested mountain Langer Rück has a summit height of 373.9 m above sea level. NN and is part of the Frauenseer forest . It is located in the district of Springen in the Wartburg district in Thuringia .

The Langer Rück mountain is located in the center of the forest area, about one kilometer northwest of Springen. The "Auenheimer Schläge", "Kessel" and "Kohlloch" occurring on the mountain are field and forest place names that are reminiscent of historical forest management.
