Lebenslinien (subtitle: Life itself writes the best stories ) is a weekly documentary series that has been shown on Bavarian television since 1990 . The program is currently broadcast on Mondays at 10:00 p.m.

The program reports on the résumés of a wide variety of people, mostly not in the public eye.
Occasionally well-known or prominent people tell about their lives and the ups and downs in it - for example Janosch , Alfons Schuhbeck , Johanna Maier , Hans-Olaf Henkel , Bernd Witthüser , Petra Schürmann , Günther Maria Halmer , Wolfgang Joop , Antonio Skármeta , Margot Werner , Angelika Hofer , Rudolph Moshammer and many others.
The oldest person portrayed was the 107-year-old Anna Lang , from Lechhausen near Augsburg , in the documentary How I became 107 from 2018.
