Leibniz Medal of the Academy of Sciences and Literature Mainz

The Leibniz Medal , named after Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz , is awarded by the Academy of Sciences and Literature Mainz to personalities who have rendered outstanding services to the Academy.

In October 1960 the Academy donated the Leibniz Medal as its highest honor for sponsors.
