The men's decathlon at the 1995 World Athletics Championships was held on August 6 and 7, 1995 in Gothenburg's Ullevi Stadium .
For the third time in a row, the American Dan O'Brien became world champion. Like two years earlier , Eduard Hämäläinen from Belarus won the silver medal. Bronze went to the Canadian vice world champion from 1991 Mike Smith .
