Leila Aman

Leila Aman (born November 24, 1977 in the province of Arsi ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon .

In 2002 she finished seventh at the World Cross Country Championship. In the same year she set her best times in the 10 km road race (32:28) and in the half marathon (1:11:10).

In 2004 she won the Dubai Marathon , in which she had finished second the year before, as well as the Prague Marathon and set her best time in fifth at the Berlin Marathon with 2:27:54.

In 2005 she finished second in the Venice Marathon , in 2006 third in the Amsterdam Marathon and in 2007 fifth in the Hamburg Marathon .
