Leonard Scott

Leonard Scott (born January 19, 1980 in Zachary , Louisiana ) is an American athlete .

Scott is a 100-meter sprinter who made it into the US top class in 2005 . In the US trials for the Olympic Games 2004 in Athens , he was about 100 meters still eighth. A year later he qualified third in the US Championships for the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2005 . There he reached the final and finished sixth with 10.13 s. In the final with the 4 × 100 m relay, he could not compete because the favored US relay was already disqualified in the semifinals. At the 2006 World Indoor Championships , he won the gold medal in the 60-meter run .

Leonard Scott is 1.81 m tall and weighs 84 kg.
