Location of Potschappel in Freital

The list of streets in Potschappel contains all named streets in the Potschappel district of the large district town of Freital in the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district .

A total of 65 streets and squares are named in Potschappel. The most important street in the district is Dresdner Straße , which connects Freital with Dresden, Wilsdruff, Possendorf and Tharandt and is therefore very important for traffic. There are also important public facilities in Freital on Dresdner Straße. Since the turn of the millennium, smaller roads have been developed as a relief or bypass road and given the uniform name Carl-Thieme-Straße. The Coschützer and Oberpesterwitzer or Burgwartstrasse and the Wilsdruffer Strasse are also more frequented.

In the city ​​traffic of Freital , the main roads are mainly used by the buses of the regional traffic Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains.

Carl-Johann Gottlob Thieme (1823–1888), German porcelain entrepreneur Carl-Thieme-Straße is the bypass road for Potschappel and parts of Döhlen. It was named on February 2, 2001. after the former street "Güterbahnhof Potschappel" and parts of the "Bachstraße" were expanded. With the construction of the bypass after 2001, parts of Coschützer Strasse and Roßthaler Strasse were also given the name "Carl-Thieme-Strasse". The Freital porcelain factory is located on the street .
