Lo Ka Chun ( Chinese  盧家駿  /  卢家骏 , Pinyin Lú Jiājùn , Jyutping Lou 4 Gaa 1 zeon 3 , born November 11, 1977 in Hong Kong ) is a Hong Kong-Chinese racing driver . From 2004 to 2011 Lo started in the China Touring Car Championship and won the championship in 2006. In addition, Lo is two-time overall winner of the Asian Touring Car Series (2002 and 2004) and one-time champion of the Hong Kong Touring Car Championship (2009).

Career

Lo mainly competes in Asian touring car championships . In 1999 he was runner-up in the China Touring Car Championship (CTCC). In addition, the winner of the independent classification of the Asian Touring Car Championship (ATCC) this season and the following . From 2001 to 2004 he won the Macau Cup Race at the Guia Circuit four times in a row in a Honda Civic . In 2002 Lo contested the Asian Touring Car Series season and won the overall standings with five wins. In 2003 he moved to the Hong Kong Touring Car Championship (HKTCC) and finished the season as runner-up. A year later, Lo returned to the Asian Touring Car Series and became champion for the second time with three wins.

From 2004 to 2011 Lo was active in the China Touring Car Championship. He spent the first four years with a Nissan Sunny . During this period he was twice runner-up (2004 and 2005) and once champion (2006). After finishing fourth in the championship in 2007, Lo moved to KIA in 2008 and received a KIA Cerato . He finished the season in fourth place. In 2009 Lo improved to third place in the championship. In 2010 Lo received a KIA Forte and again took third place in the championship. In 2011 Lo was runner-up with three wins. In addition, Lo was active in various Honda models for two years in the Hong Kong Touring Car Championship. After he had secured the championship title with two wins in 2009, he finished the 2010 season with four wins in second place.

In 2011 Lo planned his debut in the World Touring Car Championship and registered for the season finale in Macau in a Peugeot 308 . Participation in another event failed for logistical reasons. After taking part in the test drives, he was excluded from the rest of the weekend because his vehicle did not meet the regulations.
