Longues-sur-Mer is a French commune with 606 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Calvados department in Normandy , the center of which is the village of the same name. Together with 33 other municipalities, Longues-sur-Mer is part of the Bayeux Intercom municipal association .

In the municipality is the Longues-sur-Mer battery , which was part of the Atlantic Wall .

The community is located in Bessin on the English Channel , whose cliff coast there reaches heights of five to 60 meters. The next larger town, Bayeux , is about 6.5 km from the village of Longues-sur-Mer.
