Loogfels No. 203

The Loogfels no. 203 is to designate a rock with notches that have been made to a border. It is located about 2.7 km west of the Rhineland-Palatinate village of Forst on the Weinstrasse in the Palatinate Forest . The boundary between Forst an der Weinstrasse and Deidesheim runs here . The boulder lies on a beaten path, about 140 m northwest is the Pfannenstein , another Loogfels.

Loogfels No. 203 is listed as an individual monument in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate's list of monuments .

Designations

The following signs can be found on the boulder:

  • The year 1534
  • The large cross, extended by a crossbar, is the Deidesheimer Waldloogzeichen
  • The two small crosses stand for forest
