Luca Antonelli (born February 11, 1987 in Monza ) is an Italian football player who is under contract with the Italian club FC Empoli .
Career
society
Luca Antonelli learned to play football in the youth of AC Milan . At the Rossoneri he acted as a defender, later also as a midfielder. He completed his first and only game for AC Milan on December 23, 2006 in the game against Udinese Calcio. For the following season 2007/08 he was awarded to AS Bari in Serie B for the entire season . Antonelli played 17 games for Bari, in which he scored his first league goal. At the end of January 2008 he was awarded to FC Parma . The association also secured a purchase option. The defender played eight games for Parma by the end of the season. FC Parma initially acquired half of the transfer rights, the defender was firmly committed in the summer of 2009 after promotion to Serie A was achieved. In the course of the 2009/10 season , the defender managed to jump into the starting line-up under coach Francesco Guidolin .
On February 2, 2015, Antonelli returned to AC Milan . He received a contract until June 30, 2018.
In August 2018, Luca Antonelli moved to FC Empoli on a free transfer.
National team
Antonelli was active in the Italian national teams of the U-19 and U-20 , for each of which he completed a game. When he played in the U-20 team on November 14, 2007, he scored a goal against Switzerland, Italy won the game 3-0.
On September 3, 2010 Antonelli made his debut in the Squadra Azzurra under Cesare Prandelli when he came on as a substitute for Antonio Cassano in the 2-1 victory of the Italians in Estonia as part of the qualification for the European Championship 2012 in the 80th minute . After another use in September 2010, there was a break of three years before Antonelli was used again. From 2013 to 2016, however, he was a regular member of the squad and was used in eleven other games. His last international match so far, he played in September 2016. In November 2016, he was nominated again, but without being used.
