Luo Zhijun

Luo Zhijun ( Chinese  罗志军 ; * 1951 in Linyuan , Liaoning Province ) is a politician in the People's Republic of China .

Luo joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1969 .

After working in the Communist Youth Association of China , most recently in its Central Committee from 1990, he moved to Nanjing in 1995 as Vice Mayor . From 2002 he took over the office of mayor and from 2003 was also party secretary of the city.

Luo was the governor of Jiangsu Province from 2008 to 2011 . Since November 2011 he has been party secretary of this province.

Luo has been a candidate for the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party since 2007 .
