Luppia ( Greek Λουππία ) is a place name that is mentioned in the Atlas Geographia compiled by Ptolemy around the year 150 .

For a long time the place could not be located. Since the investigations of an interdisciplinary research team around Andreas Kleineberg, who re-examined the information provided by Ptolemy, Luppia has been assigned to the area of ​​today's Bernburg (Saale) in Saxony-Anhalt.
