Mölltal
The Mölltal is a valley in Carinthia in Austria . Its name comes from the Möll river , which flows through the valley. The Mölltal Straße was once an important section of the route in the lower reaches of the Mölltal, since all users of the Tauern tunnel between the car loading station Böckstein in Gasteinertal and Mallnitz came into the Mölltal. After the opening of the Tauern motorway with the Tauern tunnel , traffic in the Mölltal decreased significantly.
The name of the valley served as a template for the folk music quintet Die fidelen Mölltaler .
