The MFK Kairat Almaty ( Russian мини-футбольный клуб Кайрат Алматы ) is a Kazakh futsal club from the former Kazakh capital Almaty .
history
The futsal division of Kairat Almaty was founded in 1995. The team established itself as the dominant team in Kazakhstan and has celebrated ten championship titles in a row since the 2003/04 season. They are also one of the best teams in the UEFA Futsal Cup . After taking third place in the Final Four tournaments in 2009 and 2011, Kairat won the trophy for the first time in 2013. As a representative of UEFA, Kairat participated in the 2014 Futsal World Cup and won this competition. Two years after the first win, Kairat managed to win the UEFA Futsal Cup again in 2015.
