The MOC

The MOC event and order center is an exhibition center at Lilienthalallee 40 in the Freimann district of Munich . It is operated by Messe München GmbH. It was built in the early 1990s on behalf of Messe München International according to the plans of the architect Helmut Jahn . As an event center and special exhibition center for Messe München International, the building in the north of Munich offers exhibition space and rooms for trade fairs, conferences, seminars and corporate events. At the same time, as a permanent order center for specialist retailers, the MOC houses more than 500 sports and shoe fashion brands all year round.

Since October 2011 the MOC has been operating as Messe München Locations together with the ICM (International Congress Center) and Messe München International .

Rooms and areas

The MOC has around 30,000 square meters of event space. Four exhibition halls with a total of 15,000 square meters can be combined with six conference and seminar rooms. The modular room concept also includes the MOC showroom with more than 140 room units, which are lined up around two atriums and can be used as exhibition stands, presentation areas, training rooms or workshop units. In the showroom area, which is rented out all year round, various sports, sports fashion, shoe and leather goods manufacturers present their collections on an area of ​​around 20,000 square meters.

Trade fairs and events

Every year around 120 events with over 330,000 visitors take place in the MOC. The events include public fairs such as "IMOT", FORUM VINI or "Die 66" as well as the textile trade fair Munich Fabric Start , the shoe fair Moda made in Italy , the Spielwies'n as well as conferences and company events.
