Ma Yinchu

MA YINCHU ( traditional characters :馬寅初; abbreviation :马寅初* 24. June 1882 , † 10. May 1982 ) was a Chinese economist.

Life

Ma warned long before the official birth planning of the population growth in the People's Republic of China and was reprimanded for it. Mao Zedong initially described birth control as the murder of the Chinese people and allowed Ma Yinchu to be dismissed from all positions in 1960.
