Madita Giehl (born May 25, 1994 in Bad Friedrichshall , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German soccer player.

Career

FV Rockenhausen and TuS Hochspeyer were among their first clubs . In 2009 Giehl played in the U-15 national team of the DFB and in the junior team of SC Siegelbach. In winter 2010 she was part of the German U-16 squad for two test matches in the USA and moved to first division club 1. FC Saarbrücken in the summer of the same year . With the FCS she was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga South after the 2010/11 season . On the 12th match day of the 2011/12 season , she scored the first goal of her professional career. For the 2012/13 season she moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, with whom she was promoted to the Bundesliga this season. The defender signed with Bundesliga promoted Borussia Mönchengladbach in June 2018 .
