Majid Entezami ( Persian مجید انتظامی; * 1948 in Tehran ) is an Iranian film music composer.

Life

The actor's son Ezzatolah Entezami studied at the Tehran Conservatory and later in Berlin. In 1974 he returned to Iran, where he conducted the Tehran Symphony Orchestra and taught at the city's conservatory and university. He composed the music for numerous films, including Gerdbad (1985), Der Fahrradfahrer (1987), Train (1988), Nassreddin Shah (1992), The Attack on H3 (1994) and Brot und Blumentopf (1996). For his music for the film Die Gläserne Agentur he was awarded the Crystal Simorgh for the best film music at the International Fajr Film Festival .
