Majors Bluff

Majors Bluff is a headland in the south of the Caribbean island of St. Kitts in the island state of St. Kitts and Nevis .

The peninsula is the smallest of the three southernmost points of St. Kitts. It extends from the "knob" of the "pan handle" of Saint George Basseterre to the south into the strait The Narrows . The headland is a former volcanic ridge that rises to around 40  m ; further north, towards the interior of the country, the ridge reaches its greatest height at approx. 100  m . The headland is bounded by Majors Bay (to the west) and Banana Bay (to the east). Inland, there is an extensive swamp area in Majors Bay.
