Malik Dohan al-Hasan
Malik Dohan al-Hasan ( Arabic مالك دوهان الحسن, DMG Mālik Dauhān al-Ḥasan ; * 1920 in Hilla , British Mandate Mesopotamia ) is an Iraqi politician .
He was Minister of Culture in the mid-1960s. Under Saddam Hussein , he himself was imprisoned for political reasons. After the fall of Saddam Hussein, he was elected President of the Bar Association.
From June 2004 to May 2005, al-Hasan was Iraq's Minister of Justice . On July 17, 2004, he survived an assassination attempt. Many of his bodyguards were killed. The terrorist Abū Musʿab az-Zarqāwī confessed to the attack .
