The journal Mammal Review is a zoological journal , as the official journal of the British Mammal Society is published. The magazine has been published since 1970 with the 42nd issue in 2012, currently it is published four times a year. History of the Society's publications

In addition to the Mammal Review, the Mammal Society regularly publishes a newsletter for members called Mammal News . Before the magazine Mammal Review and the members' magazine Mammal News appeared in 1970, from 1955 to 1969 the Society published The Bulletin, which appeared twice a year, as a membership magazine with scientific articles. At the same time, Notes on British Mammals was published to members who adopted articles from the Journal of Zoology related to mammals in the UK. The latter was released until 1997.
